MSNBC host, Rev. Al Sharpton and his National Action Network is conducting a march in Washington, DC on October 15th.

Scheduled speakers include Co-Hosts Rev. Al Sharpton and Tom Joyner, and co-chairs for the event include: Richard L. Trumka, President of American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO), Randi Weingarten, President of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), Lee Saunders, Secretary-Treasurer of American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), Dennis Van Roekel, President of National Education Association (NEA), Larry Cohen, President of Communications Workers of America (CWA), George Gresham, President of 1199 SEIU Healthcare Workers East, Marc Morial, President and CEO of the National Urban League, Wade Henderson, President and CEO of the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights (LCCHR).
A rally preceding the march will begin at 11 a.m. (EST) at the National Sylvan Theater. The Sylvan Theater is located within the northwest corner of the 15th Street and Independence Avenue intersection, about 400 ft (120 m) southeast of the great obelisk of the Washington Monument. Participants should enter the monument grounds at 15th Street Northwest. The march will begin immediately following the rally and conclude near the King Memorial site on Ohio Drive, SW.
