AFL-CIO To Spend Millions On Ineffective Ad Aimed At Improving Image

The AFL-CIO is, according to AP, spending $1.5 million to air this ad in Austin, TX and Pittsburgh, PA in an effort to raise its public image. However, the $1.5 figure is just the initial launch as the AFL-CIO is planning to air this in more markets.

Frankly, in terms of effectiveness, the AFL-CIO could have saved a lot of union members’ dues by just dusting off this old classic:
