As employers brace for April 14th, the day the National Labor Relations Board’s so-called “ambush election rules” take effect, the NLRB is offering “training” on the new rules to practioners—primarily labor attorneys, consultants, and union agents—who practice under the National Labor Relations Act.
In what can only be viewed as adding insult to injury, rather than doing the training in a more ‘neutral’ location, the NLRB is offering one of its trainings* at the offices of one of the largest unions in New York–the offices of 32BJ SEIU.
