A former SEIU boss, who was convicted on federal charges that he stole tens of thousands of dollars from his low-income members, is now advising companies.
The once-high flying union boss of one of the Service Employees International Union’s Southern California chapters—who was convicted of stealing from his low-income union members–is now running a “boutique consulting firm specializing in the exclusive representation of management in business matters,” according to his website.
Although he faced up to nearly 200 years in prison, Freeman was only sentenced to 33 months in prison.
