Despite Good Economy AFL-CIO Boss Blasts Trump, Hopes For Democrats In Mid-Terms

Despite the lowest unemployment in two decades, AFL-CIO boss Richard Trumka spoke with the Fox News Channel’s Chris Wallace about why he dislikes President Donald Trump and is pushing to change Washington with the mid-term elections.

Despite the lowest unemployment in years, President Donald Trump has done more to hurt American workers than help them, Richard Trumka, the president of the AFL-CIO—the largest federation of unions in the nation—stated on Sunday.

As a result, union workers will likely support Democratic candidates in November, Trumka stated.

Trumka also said he disagrees with the President’s bi-lateral approach to negotiating a replacement to the North American Free Trade Agreement (or NAFTA), despite unions having long despised the tri-lateral agreement.
