The King?…

LABOR FUTUREIf it is the king-maker, then SEIU boss Andy Stern is the most powerful man in the world and unions are running the federal government.

The following is only a partial listing of appointments (or nominations) that President Barack Obama has made of union advocates into key positions wthin the federal government.
  • Ellen Moran (SEIU, AFL-CIO & Emily’s List), appointed to White House Communications Director; recently moved to the Commerce Dept.
  • Ron Bloom (USW),  Current “Auto Czar” (or Commissar…or whatever)
  • Mary Beth Maxwell (ARAW), Special Asst. to Labor Secy. Hilda Solis
  • Randy Babbitt (ALPA), Chairman Federal Aviation Association
  • Patrick Gaspard (SEIU), White House Director, Office of Political Affairs
  • Linda Puchala (AFA), National Mediation Board
  • Jordan Barab (AFSCME), Deputy Asst. Secy of  OSHA
  • Joseph Szabo (UTU), Chairman, Fed. Railroad Administration
