DETROIT—DTE Energy held a news conference to address their storm preparations in the wake of a strike by 600 line clearance tree trimmers.
The strike by the IBEW Local 17 workers went into effect at midnight Wednesday. DTE says they are not involved in the contract negotiations because the workers are employed by subcontractors.
