Not long ago, for someone to say that Marxists were using race to foster their socialist revolution, Lefties would rise up in chorus-like fashion and scream “McCarthyism!” Now, however, rather than dredging up a name that few young people today know, the Leftists cry “racism!”

Yet, with the age of the internet, the evidence is all-too-often right in front of them. No longer can they claim that it’s racist to point out the Marxists are using race as a means of pushing their Marxist agenda.

Nowadays, however, the Marxists proudly put their diatribe onto websites for all the world to see.

Take, for example, Dante Strobino. Strobino is an organizer in North Carolina for the United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers of America (better known as the UE) as well as a leader with Raleigh F.I.S.T. Strobino sees the use of African Americans in the South as crucial to establishing world wide socialism. And, if you haven’t figured it out by now, Strobino is also a true believer in Marxism:

He said he really started his political activism protesting the War in Afghanistan after September 11, 2001.

“I was really just taken up. It was really adventurous. At first it was just exciting white-guy bull s**t,” he said. “But I really had to understand my own role with U.S. imperialism and understand it on a local level.”

The talk about “U.S. imperialism” is where Strobino becomes controversial. He believes capitalism is at the root of all social injustice in America. He quotes Karl Marx and is well versed in literature on black liberation. He has no problem explaining what he feels is wrong with the United States.

“It’s power we have to change. It’s not just giving stuff out. It’s about power,” he said. “That’s our struggle. It’s a fight for power. Right now, we see who has all the power in our country and it’s the corporate elite, which is mainly white men.”

On November 13th and 14th, Dante Strobino was in New York City, speaking at the World Workers Party National Conference. During his speech, Strobino emphasized the need to “develop the political and organization and ideological character” of African Americans as a vital component in tearing down Capitalism.

[Beginning at :40] We must recognize the strategic role of the U.S. South for restructuring of the globalist capitalist production as a global strategy. Without the serious concentration of forces and resources by the Left in helping to develop the political and organization and ideological character of the working class in the South—the black working class—the consciousness…an entire consciousness of the U.S. South, we’re going to be unable to overthrow Capitalism, unable to establish this new fight for Socialism.  Our Party has understood that historically, and has been part of many important struggles in the South.

[At 1:50] It’s always been a difficulty of the Left of understanding the centrality of the U.S. South—particularly of the struggle of self determination of African Americans in the U.S. South and it’s important, vital aspects of revolutionary struggle of workers power to dismantle and transform the U.S. imperialist state.

As comrades know its been talked about, the majority of black folks in the country 55% live in the U.S. South in the 12 states of the U.S. South…

Of course, using African Americans to overthrow an economic system…this wouldn’t be considered racist at all, would it?
