Craig Becker, currently serving on the National Labor Relations Board thanks to a recess appointment, has been renominated to serve a full term according to a review of nominations posted on WhiteHouse.gov. President Obama made dozens of nominations yesterday, and Becker’s has yet to receive much publicity.
Last year, Becker was rejected by a Senate that was made up of 59 Democrats and 41 Republicans. Following the 2010 elections, the Democratic majority is down to 53-47, meaning the chances of Senate confirmation are very slim at this point.
