FL Unions Claim Having to Collect Their Own Dues is “Union-Busting”

The claim, if it weren’t so pathetic, would be laughable. However, unions in Florida (like elsewhere in the country) are in a dither over having to collect their own union dues. Imagine, unions that once eschewed government involvement in their affairs have now become completely and totally reliant on government.

Union workers all over the state are getting their political butts kicked in Tallahassee. Unions call it union busting. Republican lawmakers call it the right thing to do. It’s all over taking away automatic dues deductions. And after an ad put out by the Florida Chamber of Commerce bashing unions, some of its members are boycotting the 5 banks affiliated with the chamber.
