AFSCME Official: Government workers treated ‘like slaves’…

0

This report is from Frank Beckmann, a radio talk-show host in Michigan about a “big” MEA-AFSCME rally at a high school [via The Michigan View]:

I checked out the big public employee union-organized rally at Ann Arbor Pioneer high school, across from U-M graduation ceremony at the Big House.

This had to be a disappointing turnout with the grandstand much less than half full despite the organizational efforts of the MEA and AFSCME – among other unions. I stayed long enough to hear an AFSCME official claim public employees are being treated like slaves, are doing jobs others won’t do, and that Rick Snyder is trying to steal from them!

I then left for the ceremonies to celebrate the achievements of Michigan graduates, who now head off to jobs in the real world where they will be forced to pay the taxes which give those protesters their generous income.

So, if the AFSCME official believes government workers are treated like slaves, what does that make those of us who pay their salaries? Chattel?
