Today’s union bosses have an almost maniacal way of revising history to suit their needs.
Fortunately, their revisionism becomes too easy to spot and point out, like this most recent effort posted on the AFL-CIO’s blog:
If you read the circled sentence carefully, you may have noted that Jon Bresler’s business could not have failed in 1989 due to NAFTA–because NAFTA did not pass until 1993 and went into effect in 1994 under Democrat President Bill Clinton.
That inconvenient little fact seems to have escaped the union writer at the AFL-CIO, however.
