With competition for gamblers’ money fierce, and with Atlantic City facing multiple casino closings in the coming month, the predominant union on the AC strip held a prayer vigil with about 200 union members.

After the march down New Jersey Avenue to the church, community leaders gathered for a the prayer service and to give the workers words of support and hope to hold on to.
