Unionized Cablevision Workers Release Rap Video Protesting Two Years Without A Contract

1

Cablevision workers who voted to unionize in Brooklyn, NY two years ago are upset that they have not acheived a collective bargaining agreement.

Even though the National Labor Relations Act does not require a company or a union to ever reach an agreement, the CWA-represented workers have released a video protesting the fact that they have not gotten a contract yet.

  1. I FULLY SUPPORT THESE WORKERS RIGHT TO HAVE A CONTRACT AND A UNION. THE OWNER OF THIS COMPANY ONLY WANTS TO PLAY CONCERTS AND DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HIS WORKERS. IT IS NOT THE COMPANY THAT CHOOSES IF THERE IS A UNION IT IS THE WORKERS THAT DECIDES.
