At their confab, the’ll be hearing from two presidents and one vice president, according to Politico.
Democratic lawmakers will go to the Sheraton Society Hill Hotel in Philadelphia next Wednesday to map out their legislative agenda for the 114th Congress. The annual retreat gives party leaders the chance to hear from members during a series of closed-door meetings. [Emphasis added.]
Those scheduled to address the lawmakers are President Obama, Vice President Biden, and AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka.
Based on this simplistic “guest list,” one might wonder: If unions constantly complain about corporations having too much power in politics, are they not guilty of the same sin?
