Hey – I generally enjoy this report, but I’ve noticed that purely political posts have started showing up more and more. Like: After 100 Days, House Democrats Have Offered Partisanship, Not Solutions. That article, along with a few other recent articles, really offer zero labor news. Also, I think “Trump Planning to make it More Difficult for Countries to block pipelines” is just a spam site. Although the article does refer to ‘nations’ it is really talking about counties. Not countries. Which it refers to over and over again. Trump is not planning to limit the ability of countries (like Canada) to determine pipeline projects within their borders. My guess is that he is going to try to limit state power.
Thank you for your comment. Generally speaking, we try to include articles of interest on both sides of the political spectrum. In all cases, there is a tie back to labor.
For example, in the article, “After 100 Days…” the reason that was included is the section that states: “The AFL-CIO criticized the plan, highlighting the crushing impact it would have on the economy and working families.”
Regarding the pipeline article, although the topic was relevant, it does appear to be a site that is translated from a different language and likely produced in a different country. As such, it has been removed.
Thank you again for your comment.
