Barack Obama’s schedule handlers apparently think that garnering support for an unpopular attack on Syria is more important than trying to lift waning support among union bosses for an increasingly-unpopular health care law.
According to CBS’ White House reporter Mark Knoller, it seems Obama has decided to cancel his appearance at next week’s AFL-CIO’s convention in Los Angeles.
Pres Obama was scheduled to deliver speech at the AFL-CIO 2013 Quadrennial Constitutional Convention in Los Angeles on Monday.
