Bill de Blasio

New York’s most recently elected liberal, Mayor has his hands deep in union pockets, according to The Chief:

The Campaign for One New York was created by Mayor de Blasio’s political operatives to further his agenda, but judging by its donors, a more apt moniker might be the Committee to Save New York Workers.

Since the start of the year, it was reported last week that $1.7 million had been contributed to the fund, with nearly $1 million of that coming from four union organizations—$350,000 from the American Federation of Teachers; another $175,000 from a political-action committee started by its New York affiliate, the United Federation of Teachers, and the Communications Workers of America; $250,000 from the giant health-care workers union 1199 SEIU, and $200,000 from UNITE HERE, the garment-workers union. There was also a two-installment contribution totaling $250,000 by the Rockefeller Foundation.
