With the Machinists union trying to unionize Boeing’s employees in North Charleston, South Carolina—and with an NLRB election scheduled for April 22nd—the company has released a video on its website WeAreBoeingSC.com reminding employees of some of the union history behind the South Carolina plant.
Although the video does not mention how the IAM was previously unceremoniously decertified in North Charleton, the nearly four-minute long video reminds employees about the union’s effort—along with a complicit NLRB—to stop Boeing’s 787 production in South Carolina.
If the IAM and the NLRB had succeeded, the plant would have been closed.
