The move, according to the UFCW, was prompted by the company retaliating against pro-union employees.
The UFCW has even gone to its friends at the National Labor Relations Board seeking an injunction to prevent the closures.
However, according to a very odd story on National Public Radio (at least, more odd than normal for NPR), it appears the giant retailer is part of some big conspiracy involving FEMA, the U.S. military, and President Obama, and the union may really be wrong about the reasons Wal-Mart has closed some of its stores.
You see, there are these Wal-Marts in West Texas that supposedly closed for six months for “renovation.” That’s what they want you to believe. The truth is these Wal-Marts are going to be military guerrilla-warfare staging areas and FEMA processing camps for political prisoners. The prisoners are going to be transported by train cars that have already been equipped with shackles.
Don’t take my word for it. That comes directly from a Texas Ranger, who seems pretty plugged in, if you ask me. You and I both know President Obama has been waiting a long time for this, and now it’s happening. It’s a classic false flag operation. Don’t pay any attention the mainstream media; all they’re going to do is lie and attack everyone who’s trying to tell you the truth.
You can read the rest of NPR’s conspiracy theory here.
It would seem that NPR has, as they say, “jumped the shark.”

Very disappointed in Labor Union Report today. You are either intentionally misleading your readers or you did not actually read the NPR post. The words quoted above are completely out of context and NPR was being disdainfully critical of anyone who could possibly believe that the Walmarts had been closed to house political prisoners, etc. That you would report in this manner uncritically indicates how much “crazy” is bouncing round the right-wing echo chamber. You have greatly compromised your credibility.
