Disney union are demanding a 37 percent increase, as protesters protest and negotiations drag on.

They’ve been unionized for decades, although one might not be able to tell from the wages they make.

Now, however, union members at Disney World in Florida are demanding their employer pay them more.

“Disney employees currently earn a minimum of $10 an hour,” according to WFTV9.com, “but the union that represents 38,000 staff members is pushing for an increase to $15 an hour.”

Currently, Disney is offering five percent wage increases, raising wages to $15 an hour, which is what the unions want, would be a 37 percent increase.

On Friday, Orange County, Florida deputies were called as protesters caused traffic to slow at an entrance of Walt Disney World.
