The Chicago Symphony Orchestra strike that began on March 11 continues with no signs of ending any time soon.

CHICAGO, IL—In what may seem anathema to a union whose members are out on strike, the striking musicians of Chicago’s Symphony Orchestra will be hosting a series of free performances, according to NBC Chicago.

Dubbed the “From the Heart of the Orchestra” series, the concerts will take place at various venues around the city, including the Chicago Teachers Union headquarters and PianoForte Studios.

One concert is scheduled for Friday and a second has been slated for Monday. The performances are free, but pre-registration is required.
