Birds of a feather flocking together?
You’d almost think they’re singing the same song written by the same speech song writer.
In an aol.com puff opinion piece, President Obama’s Labor Secretary Hilda Solis dropped an illogical statement about unemployment benefits:
There is no better stimulus than unemployment benefits, as this money quickly flows from those who need help into local economies. ..
Say what?!? How about a job???
[Oh yeah. That’s not working out too well, is it?]
The funny part about Solis’ statement is, that’s just what Nancy Pelosi said a couple of days ago.
[Apparently someone has sent around the I-can’t-think-for-myself talking points late last week and now everyone’s jumping on the same sinking ship meme.]
Apparently, with the mid-term elections right around the corner, these ladies are doing all they can to put a rosy picture onto an economy that’s not creating jobs, despite the hundreds of billions blown on stimulus.
No, ladies, what America needs is jobs. Created by the private sector. And, the only way for that to happen is for you to get government out of the way.
If they really wanted to know why, they could read this, but it’s unlikely they will.
You can read Solis’ sales pitch here.
